Greenmasters Outdoors recently completed a full landscape installation for the new 7 Brew location on E. Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida, transforming a high-traffic commercial site into a vibrant, welcoming environment that reflects the brand’s fast-paced, customer-focused experience.
Designed to complement the efficiency of a drive-thru concept, the landscape needed to be both visually impactful and built for long-term performance. Greenmasters Outdoors approached the project with a layered design strategy, using a mix of canopy trees, structured hedging, and expansive groundcover to create depth, movement, and year-round interest across the property.
A strong foundation was established with the installation of Red Maples, Live Oaks, Dahoon Hollies, and Sabal Palms, bringing height, shade, and structure to the site. These larger trees help soften the surrounding commercial setting while creating a more established, inviting feel for customers as they enter and move through the property.
To build out the mid and lower layers, a diverse plant palette was introduced to add texture and color. Dwarf Firebush and Pink Muhly Grass provide seasonal vibrancy and visual softness, while Podocarpus and Walters Viburnum create clean lines and evergreen structure for screening and continuity. Extensive groundcover plantings, including Confederate Jasmine, Sunshine Mimosa, and Coontie Cycad, were used to fill in the landscape with lush, low-maintenance coverage that enhances the overall aesthetic while reducing upkeep.
The project also included the installation of 7,777 square feet of Bahia sod, providing a durable and drought-tolerant lawn suited for Florida conditions. All planting beds were finished with natural brown mulch to retain moisture and create a cohesive, polished appearance throughout the site. Supporting the entire landscape is a 20-zone Rain Bird irrigation system, designed for efficient water distribution and long-term plant health.
The end result is a clean, cohesive landscape that works seamlessly with the flow of the site while elevating curb appeal along one of Orlando’s busiest corridors. This project highlights Greenmasters Outdoors’ ability to deliver commercial landscape solutions that balance aesthetics, durability, and functionality, creating spaces that not only look great on day one, but continue to perform over time.
